BTG — Bulldog Tactical Gear
In 2005, in Portsmouth, UK — a city steeped in military tradition — Phil M., a former Royal Marines Commando, founded Bulldog Tactical Gear with one clear goal:
to design reliable, functional, and accessible gear, shaped by real operational experience.
His first creation, a modular chest rig, was built for essentials: lightweight, rugged, mission-ready.
It was quickly adopted and refined by his former teammates, who pushed it to its limits in the field.
That loop — field use, feedback, improvement — became the brand’s DNA.
A brand built on use, not image
Over time, the range expanded naturally:
plate carriers, MOLLE pouches, tactical bags, uniforms, and modular accessories — all designed with one purpose in mind:
to support the operator, not slow them down.
Today, BTG gear is used by members of special forces and intervention units across Europe,
including in the UK, France, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
It is deployed in a variety of demanding contexts:
advanced training, internal security, tactical patrols, and mission-ready fieldwork.
BTG is the answer from a man of the field, to those who go back to it.
No gimmicks. No fluff. Just gear that does the job — again and again.
